Cismigiu Park it is situated in the centre of the capital, the oldest and most beautiful park Bucharest covering a surface of 17 hectares. The arrangement works began under the coordination of the Wien arhitect, F. Meyer. It consists in a large French garden (in the west), the Writer's Area and the Roman Area a rose garden (in the north), three lakes, the biggest one with an island, a landing place where one can rent little boats. The bloom, in stages the cool air in summer make Cişmigiu one of the most beloved places in Bucharest.
